Release Update: Astro-COLIBRI v2.10.0 Now Available ✨

We are pleased to announce the release of Astro-COLIBRI v2.10.0. This update introduces several new features and improvements aimed at enhancing your experience and efficiency in astronomical observations. Here’s what’s included in the latest version:

Capture d’écran 2024-02-28 à 18.40.03 Multi-Observatory Visibility Plot :
This new feature enables the selection of multiple observatories worldwide for visibility plotting. It’s designed to assist in planning follow-up campaigns by providing a comprehensive visibility window across selected observatories. As an example, see below for the visibility of the recently discovered accreting millisecond pulsar (SRGA J144459.2-604207) from a variety of observatories in the Southern hemisphere. You’ll find the new figure right next to the usual, single-observatory observability plot. :telescope:

notifications Direct Event Load from Notifications:
This closes one of the oldest requests from many of you! With this improvement, clicking on a notification now directly opens the associated event in the app. This change is intended to provide quicker access to event details, saving you the need to remember the event name from the notification and the manual search for it. :calling:

Capture d’écran 2024-02-28 à 18.28.43 Customizable Color Schemes:
The update also introduces color scheme options for the app interface. You can now customize the look of Astro-COLIBRI according to your preference, making the user experience more personal. Let us know what you think about the available choices! :art:

These updates are part of our commitment to continously improving the functionality and usability of Astro-COLIBRI for our community of amateur and professional astronomers.

To get started with the new features, please update your app to the latest version. If you have any feedback or need assistance, feel free to contact us right here in this forum.
