Introducing ‘Multi-messenger Astrophysics’: A Podcast by the Astro-COLIBRI Team

We are happy to announce another fun side-project of the Astro-COLIBRI team: our very own podcast!
It is called “Multi-messenger astrophysics” and is aimed at helping all of us get an easy overview of scientific results and new discoveries. We’ll highlight recent publications and generally talk about the cool science behind the most violent explosions in the universe.

Note that the podcast is created almost fully automatically using the Gemini AI model within the NotebookLM platform proposed by Google. You can thus expect some quite funny pronunciation mistakes and often very enthusiastic descriptions. It is not meant as a 100% reliable source of information but as an easy-to-follow overview and introduction to certain topics and results. We invite everybody to read the original publications that we link in the show notes.

We have started to publish a new episode every few days, but this obviously depends on the influx of new results and our available time. The podcast is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all other podcast players via its RSS feed).

Have a listen and let us know if this is something useful.
