These are events that are no longer considered to be of astrophysical origin. Typically this occurs when onboard or rapid online analyses emit alerts about a detection (that we add to our database) but later analyses indicate issues with the data, the analysis or other factors. After the a “retraction” information has been published, we rename the events as “retracted”.
