We report follow-up observations of the short GRB 260707A detected by Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM (GCN Circular 45096) at 03:25:09 UT on 7 Jul 20 26.
We observed the field around AR18h53m36s DEC-54°43m48s and performed with our Planewave-CDK17 telescope at AITP-Observatory at SPACEOBS San Pedro de Atacama in Chili equipped with a CMOS QHY268M camera.
Our observation started on 2026-07-07 at 08:47:27 UT (about 5.30 hr after the trigger) and we obtained 16x300 s exposures with the SDSS-r filter. After calibration, the median stacked image has been uploaded to STDWeb, the web-based tool for photometry and transient detection in astronomical images, based on STDPipe library and developed by Sergey Karpov (Karpov, S. (2025). STDweb: simple transient detection pipeline for the web. Acta Polytechnica, 65(1), 50-64. and hosted by the Observatoire de Bretagne Sud, 56390 Grand Champ and privately funded by Pierre-Yves Lechapelain.
We measure the following upper limits calibrated against the PanSTARRS DR1 catalog, and not corrected for Galactic extin ction:
At RA 263.40000 DEC-54.73000, at 2026-07-07T09:27:35Z, GRB260707A upperlimit is 19.73 +/- 0.20 (rmag - 0.00 (gmag - rmag) with S/N = 5 .10
