RAPAS: Network of Amateur and Professional Scientists for Scientific Alerts
A network of observers set up since 2022 with the support of the Scientific Council of the Observatoire de Paris-PSL and the Centre Jules Janssen. One of the first sources of astrophysical alerts is the Gaia mission, which, in addition to its data releases, continuously emits alerts. However, many other alerts are also concerned, requiring harmonization of methods and filters to respond usefully.
