Astromarcos123
I am associated with AAVSO, to which I contribute CCD and visual photometric data.
I have a degree in Pedagogy and Physics, as well as a postgraduate degree in Astronomy and Natural Sciences Teaching Methodology.
I participate in some ProAm projects such as SNEWS/Supernova Early Warning System (https://snews2.org/) and HOYS/Hunting Outbursting Young Stars (https://hoys.space/).
I use equipment from remote observatories such as AAVSOnet, the Burke-Gaffney Observatory and the Abbey Ridge Observatory, the last two in Canada.
I have experience in observing variable stars and my interests are variable stars of the types LPV (Long Period Variables, red stars), YSO (Young Stellar Objects), RCRB (R Coronae Borealis) and Astronomical Transients. I have some discoveries through Pro-Am collaboration listed on the Transient Name Server, such as Supernovas and unclassified Transients.
