The first event recorded within Astro-COLIBRI and given the name _“AC 2026a”_ by the Astro-COLIBRI nameserver is a gamma-ray burst detected by Swift: [GRB 260101A](https://astro-colibri.com/event:1429608). Its redshift of z = 2.623 has already been measured using the Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) equipped with the OSIRIS+ instrument. A good start into the new year…
